1)Just a reminder gentle that the bottles collected for the competition has to be washed. Please take note that dirty bottles will not be counted or collected.
2)The next collection date would be on 11 March (Wednesday)2-6pm*

Why is Republic Polytechnic organising this challenge?

-The key objective of recycling waste material and encouraging a reduction of use of plastic bottles, this event aims to raise and strengthen the awareness of recycling and also to encourage a reduction of use of plastic bottles amongst secondary school students.
-To create and raise the environmental awareness amongst students by encouraging the recycling of waste material and
-Through the collection process, we hope youths will realise the sheer number of plastic bottles that are thrown away daily and the fact that these bottles can be recycled. Hopefully, this will help them make environmentally friendly choices by reducing the need to purchase consumer goods packed in plastic bottles.
-Reaching out to the community around us and involving them in our green movement
-Creating a platform to allow RP students to contribute to the environment by engaging other youths in this green effort
-To increase awareness about light pollution and how individuals can do their part to reduce energy consumption.
